Light Needs: Full Sun to Part shade
A herbaceous perennial with blooms of a vibrant color range of oranges, scarlet, purples, and golden yellows that last from Summer to Fall. Perfect in a Border, mass planting, cutting garden, rock garden, cottage garden, and containers. Attracts butterflies and is deer tolerant. If spent blooms are left in the Fall it will attract an array of finches in other birds that will feed off the seeds over the Winter. Prefers well-drained, fertile soil and once established will tolerate moderate drought. Remove spent blooms to prolong flowering season. Prune back old foliage and apply fertilizer in early spring before new growth emerges.
