Deciduous flowering multi-branched small tree or shrub with early Spring blooms. Flowers are large and fragrant with white double petals that make excellent cut flowers. Flowers appear before foliage emerges in Spring. Attracts butterflies and is easy to care for. Ideal in Rustic, Woodland, or Cottage gardens. Nicely sized specimen in Courtyards, Townhouses or Condo Complexes. Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Feed with a fertilizer before new growth begins in spring. Prune in winter.
